Tasteless Bubblegum

Image
For many years, the Muslim Ummah was made accustomed to 'terrorist' and 'fundamentalist', 'Islamist' and 'Jihadist'.  Now that these flavors have run out, and the public have tired from their abject failure to attach a thread of truth to them, a new flavor from the Islamophobes has come into the market. 'Controversial' and 'radical' are the new bubblegum pieces, wrapped in cheap quality 'Maqasid' wrappers by confused chaps and rabid chappies are hitting the gossip shelves and could soon become a hit.  A kind word of caution to the Muslim Ummah: the tasteless bubblegum flavors that have been spat out in the west and east, north and south weren't worth it. The new flavors of 'radical' and 'controversial' don't come with any warranty and guarantee.  Don't waste your hard-earned time and effort in chewing more tasteless bubblegum.

THE HARROWING CHRONICLE OF CHANGING A RELIGION: IS THE MUSLIM UMMAH INVOLVED IN EXACTLY THE SAME?

Image
When Allāh Ta'ala punished the Jews for their evil deeds and at intervals, Nebuchadnezzar and Titus destroyed Jerusalem, killed thousands of Jews, and banished thousands more, then after remaining in disgrace for a long time, they were given a last chance to be forgiven; they got the choice between forgiveness and remaining stubborn. They could have repented and made Allāh Ta'ala happy. This was the occasion to obey Sayyidunā ‘Īsā 'alayhi as salaam and repent at his hands. They were told that if they distance themselves from sin, resort to seeking forgiveness and repenting, then Allāh Ta'ala will accept their repentance, he will remove their difficulties and he will send a Nabī for their prosperity, he will be a means of their safety and salvation. Through the blessings of obeying him, they will come out of the shackles of difficulty. From that time, the pious amongst them were waiting for the saviour, but the majority of them remained engrossed in sin and t...

Ridiculing the Adhan

Image
It is reported that when a certain Christian of Madinah Munawwarah used to hear the words, 'I bear witness that Muhammad is the Rasul of Allah' in the Adhan, he used to say, "The liar has burnt" or "May the liar get burnt". Irrespective of what his intention may have been in saying these words, the reality is that they were applicable to him in full. This is because that wretched person was a liar. Upon witnessing the rise and spread of Islam, he used to burn out of envy. Coincidentally, a maid servant went to his house with a fire while his family and children were asleep. A small spark of fire fell from her hand whereby the entire house together with its inhabitants was burnt. In this way, Allah showed how the liars get burnt in this world even before they can burn in the fire of hell. May Allah Ta'ala grant us all the ability to respect the Adhan, the Masjid, and all the hallmarks of Islam. Ameen Source: Tafsir-e-'Uthmani vol.2 pp.455-456

Unique Love for Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam & the Sahabah radiyallahu 'anhum

Image
The daughter of Sayyiduna Khalid radiyallahu 'anhu, 'Abdah radiyallahu 'anha says, "My father, whilst lying in bed, would talk about and remember Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam with great love and intense eagerness for him. He would also remember each and every Muhajir and Ansari by name and would say, "They are my elders and they are my juniors. My heart is eager to meet them. O Allah, call me back soon, so that I may be able to meet all of them. He would keep on doing this until he would be overtaken by sleep." May Allah Ta'ala bless us all with such great & deep love for Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, the blessed family of Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, all the Sahabah radiyallahu 'anhum, and all the pious luminaries of the Ummah. Surah al-Kahf

Image
Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas Juhani radiyallahu 'anhu narrated that Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said that for the one who recites Surah al-Kahf on the Day of Jumu'ah, a Noor is created from his feet until the heavens.  In another report, it is mentioned that all his sins from the previous Jumu'ah to the present Jumu'ah will be forgiven.  In another Hadith, it is mentioned that it will save him from the punishment of the grave. Ameer Sayf-ud-Deen Bulbaan Al-Husaami narrates, "One day, I walked towards the wilderness. When I came to the graveyard, I saw Ibn Daqeeq rahimahullah standing by a grave reciting the Noble Qur'an and making Du'a. He was crying profusely. When I asked him the reason for crying so much, he explained, "The dweller of this grave is one of my students. He used to learn the Noble Qur'an from me. Last night, when I saw him in my dream, I asked about his condition. He said, "After you had buried me, a huge an...

The Modernist Attack upon Sayyidunā Muḥammad Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam

Image
  1.       Modernists do not adhere to the understanding and interpretation of the Noble Qur’ān, the Blessed Sunnah, the luminous examples of the Ṣaḥābah raḍiyallāhu ‘anhum , the illustrious Mujtahid Imāms, and the pious men of Allāh Ta’ālā. 2.       Modernists strive to reform and deform the pure and pristine structure of Islām, desiring to wipe it away, and in place, practice upon some form of religion that is in harmony with modernist trends and practices – in order to appease their whims and display to the non-Muslim world that they are working hard to please them, i.e., the non-Muslims.   3.       Modernists are identified by the ideas they propagate, by the way they conduct themselves, and the kinds of teachings they spread. 4.       Modernists are always at loggerheads with the traditionalists, targeting them with mockery and striving to tarnish their image, so th...

The Ink & Blood of the Scholar

Image
Indeed nations are only brought to life by their beliefs and their concepts, and they die only with their desires and their lusts. The extent to which righteous convictions and correct beliefs spread within a nation, is the extent to which it plants its roots in the depths of the earth and sends forth orchards of trunks with their flourishing leaves so that man can take shade by it from the troubles of life, its financial fever and from the flame of hatred, envy and competition for cheap thrills and temporary enjoyment. As for the Muslim Ummah, it does continue to exist in the course of history of humankind, except by a divine ideology and the blood which flows as a result of spreading this divine ideology and implanting it into the real world. The life of the Muslim Ummah is solely dependent on the ink of its scholars and the blood of its martyrs. What is more beautiful than the writing of the Ummah's history with both the ink of a scholar and his blood, such that the ma...

"Don't be sad, Salem. Do you know who's going to take you to the Masjid today?"

Image
This is a true story about a man named Rashed. He tells his story as follows... I was not more than thirty years old when my wife gave birth to my first child. I still remember that night. I had stayed out all night long with my friends, as was my habit. It was a night filled with useless talk, and worse, with backbiting, gossiping, and making fun of people. I was mostly the one who made people laugh; I would mock others and my friends would laugh and laugh. I remember on that night that I'd made them laugh a lot. I had an amazing ability to imitate others – I could change the sound of my voice until I sounded exactly like the person I was mocking. No one was safe from my biting mockery, even my friends; some people started avoiding me just to be safe from my tongue. I remember on that night, I had made fun of a blind man who I'd seen begging in the market. What was worse, I had put my foot out in front him – he tripped and fell, and started turning his head around, not kno...

Refutation of the Lies Against Sayyiduna Zayd radiyallahu 'anhu, Sayyidah 'Ai'sha radiyallahu 'anhu, & Sayyiduna Muhammad Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam

Image
  1.        Sayyidunā Zayd bin Thābit raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu was an Anṣārī Ṣaḥābī. 2.        He was from the scribes of wa ḥī , i.e., revelation. 3.        Ras ū lull ā h ṣ allal lāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam had mentioned that he was not at ease regarding the correspondence of the Jews, as they would write in Aramaic. Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam was not at ease; it should happen that the Jews write what they did not say, or, they should not write what they actually said. This was the purpose of the instruction of Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. See Ḥayāt-us-Ṣaḥābah volume 3 page 277. 4.        Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam did not instruct Sayyidunā Zayd bin Thābit raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu by way of diplomacy and interfaith relations, as stated by a certain speaker in Houghton on Friday 15 December during his Jumu’ah lecture. 5.   ...

Upholding the Legacy of the Blessed Sirah

Image
UPHOLDING THE LEGACY OF THE BLESSED SĪRAH All Muslims around the world understand it to be their responsibility to guard and uphold the legacy of Sayyidunā Muḥammad Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam – the final Nabī of Allāh Ta’ālā. Ever since he was deputed as a Nabī, and he called to Islām and Tauḥīd, Sayyidunā Muḥammad Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam became the target of abuse and vilification. He was laughed at, mocked at, and all sorts of horrible things were done to him, his blessed family, his sincere companions, and all those who believed and followed him. Just before he departed from this worldly abode, liars and imposters arose, claiming to be Ambiyā’. They were dealt away with by Allāh Ta’ālā at the hands of the sincere Muslims, and all these fraudsters fell head long into the fire of hell. This trend continued, and other imposters also claimed Nubuwwah. This trend will continue further, to the degree that Dajjāl will also make the same false claim,...
