The Modernist Attack upon Sayyidunā Muḥammad Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam
1. Modernists do not adhere to the understanding and
interpretation of the Noble Qur’ān, the Blessed Sunnah, the luminous examples
of the Ṣaḥābah raḍiyallāhu ‘anhum, the illustrious Mujtahid Imāms, and
the pious men of Allāh Ta’ālā.
2. Modernists strive to reform and deform the pure and
pristine structure of Islām, desiring to wipe it away, and in place, practice
upon some form of religion that is in harmony with modernist trends and
practices – in order to appease their whims and display to the non-Muslim world
that they are working hard to please them, i.e., the non-Muslims.
3. Modernists are identified by the ideas they propagate,
by the way they conduct themselves, and the kinds of teachings they spread.
4. Modernists are always at loggerheads with the
traditionalists, targeting them with mockery and striving to tarnish their
image, so that the rest of the Muslim Ummah moves away from traditional Islām.
5. The main target of the Modernists is the being and
teachings of Sayyidunā Muḥammad Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam,
his blessed family, and his illustrious companions. In addition, the Modernists
try their utmost best to undermine the personalities and teachings of the Ṣaḥābah
raḍiyallāhu ‘anhum, and the illustrious pious Imāms of the Ummah.
6. Modernists strive to replace the traditional teachings
of Islām by using the teachings rooted in scientism, feminism, perennialism,
secularism, humanism, orientalism, and atheism.
7. By doing this, Modernists replace the true ilāh, Allāh
Ta’ālā, substituting Him with scientism and humanism. The Modernists replace
the Sunnah with hedonism – twisting and turning the blessed Sunnah to conform
to their own whims and desires.
8. This in turn pushes the Modernists to subscribe to the
theories of atheists like believing in evolution and the rest of the scientific
‘findings’ that conflict with Islāmic belief.
9. The reality of Modernists who use the name of
Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu alayhi wa sallam to promote hedonism, feminism,
scientism, perennialism, and atheism is that they are directly attacking the
being of Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu alayhi wa sallam and the Khatm-un-Nubuwwah.
10. For this reason, Modernists support actions that
target Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu alayhi wa sallam, like interfaith, cartoons
of Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu alayhi wa sallam, mockery of the Sunnah, lying
about the blessed Ṣaḥābah raḍiyallāhu ‘anhum, pushing for Sunnī-Shia
unity, and other evils.
11. It is essential that all Muslims educate themselves of
the Modernist threat to Islām and Imān.
12. All Muslims are encouraged to guard and protect the
honour and integrity of Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu alayhi wa sallam by
staying very far away from Modernists and their activities, even if it has an
Islāmic label and flavour. Āmīn
