Habib Ali al-Jifri & His Increasingly Problematic Statements
Habib Ali al-Jifri is well known for his numerous problematic, confusing, and deviant positions and statements. He is linked to Habib Umar by family ties and is part of the board of the institution Dar al-Mustafa in Tarim, Yemen. Habib Ali al-Jifri stated multiple times in public that he loves the Jews. He plays a major role in promoting interfaith dialogue, alongside other deviants like Hamza Yusuf and Abdullah bin Bayyah. Various scholars, journalists, and writers have refuted and rebuffed him, but he continues in his extreme deviation.
