BOOK REVIEW: Naqsh-e-Ḥayāt A Biography and Memoirs of Shaykh Ḥusain Aḥmad Madanī raḥimahullāh

Image
All praise is for Allah Ta’ālā, the sole deity worthy of worship. May peace, salutations, and benedictions be upon the final Rasūl of Allāh, Sayyidunā Muḥammad Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. The book under review has gained traction in many circles, and is now gaining popularity in South Africa. Looking at the hype around the book, we also acquired a copy and began reading it with the hope of gaining inspiration from the lives of the illustrious pious predecessors in our chain of knowledge. However, as we went along, we were surprised (but not utterly astonished) to note the brief and problematic sentences that seems to promote a different kind of picture from the original that we had about the illustrious saintly personality of Mawlānā Ḥusain Aḥmad Madanī raḥimahullāh . Hereunder, we shall list the problematic issues, which we feel, must be corrected by the Editor, and the Publisher. 1.       The disrespect for the pious personalities tha...

The Houthi Question

Image
“Every calamity that has befallen this Ummah, every decline this Ummah has faced, and every disaster this Ummah has passed through, including Karbala, the first person responsible for it is ‘Umar.”  – Husayn Badr-ud-D in Houthi 1.     The Houthis of Yemen are the stooges of Iran. Period. 2.     Prominent Shia lecturers like ‘Ammār Nakhshwani attest to the Zaydi [Fiver] Shia of Yemen to be the brothers of Ithna Ashariyyah [Twelver] of Iran. 3.     ‘Ammār Nakhshwani has stated on a public platform that the Zaydi of Yemen are moving towards Twelver Shiasm, and have in fact, become Twelver Shia, because the Zaydi turned to Sistani [Ithna Ashari of Iraq] for mediation in their matters. 4.     The Zaydis have stated that Sistani is their leader. Sistani has a long history of swearing Umm-ul-Mu’minīn Sayyidah ‘Ā’isha raḍiyallāhu ‘anhā. Other ‘Ulamā’ have explained that the Houthis subscribe to Khamanei as their lea...

Interfaith is a Humiliation of Islam

Image
Mujajjid Alf e Thani rahimahullah said, "The honor of Islam is dependent upon abasing kufr and the people of kufr. Those who honor the people of kufr are humiliating Islam. Honoring the people of kufr is not confined to a display of honor or giving them a prominent position in a meeting. It also refers to accommodating them in one's gatherings, socializing with them, and enjoying discussions with them.  Allah Ta'ala says that the disbelievers are His enemies and the enemies of His beloved Rasul. Therefore, interacting with these enemies of Allah and His Rasul, and loving them is a major sin." - Maktub 163  Note: If interacting and socializing with disbelievers is a major sin, then what can be said of interfaith? We seek the protection and forgiveness of Allah Ta'ala from the blasphemy and polytheism of interfaith.

Think Properly & Correctly

Image
This post is not meant to create controversy, but simply to educate the Muslim public, with a kind request to think properly and correctly as a Muslim, in order to protect their imaan and Islam.  With the craze surrounding the rugby world cup, Muslims in South Africa are ignorantly posting the springbok image all over their phones, homes, shops, and cars.  The springbok face - resembling the face of a goat - and its horns are being featured prominently, even by females. What the Muslim public must know is that the Baphomet - the figure representing the devil - worshipped by Satanists, also has a goat head with long horns.  We already know that sports players are being pushed into the faces of the public, to make them appear as heroes. However, they are no heroes for Muslims, let alone non-Muslims. They are puppet figures used to garner attention away from the most important and serious things happening all around the world.  The honor of a Muslim is not on the sports...

Have the Shia ever defended Islām & the Muslims?

Image
Adapted & Translated from: Ḥ izbull ā h Kon He? ‘Al ī A ṣ - Ṣā diq, 2008, Maktabah Al-Imam Al-Bukh ā r ī  Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim The Shia organization called Ḥizbullāh was established in Lebanon in 1982. In 1985, they entered politics. They were born from a group called Ḥarakah Amal Ash-Shia. In the beginning, they named themselves Ḥarakah Amal Al-Islāmiyyah, so that they could gain acceptance in the Muslim world. They tried this trick with the name because in Lebanese politics, they were restricted to Shia only. The objective of the name change to Ḥarakah Amal Al-Islāmiyyah was to spread Shiasm in Lebanon and the rest of the Muslim world. For this reason, they took on the face of Muj ā hid ī n whose objective was to defend the Ummah and protect its sacred places. However, looking at the lowly and filthy actions of Ḥarakah Amal Ash-Shia, it was not possible for the organization to handle a major task like defending the Muslim Ummah under a new name. Due to thi...
