The Houthi Question

 “Every calamity that has befallen this Ummah, every decline this Ummah has faced, and every disaster this Ummah has passed through, including Karbala, the first person responsible for it is ‘Umar.”  – Husayn Badr-ud-Din Houthi

1.    The Houthis of Yemen are the stooges of Iran. Period.

2.    Prominent Shia lecturers like ‘Ammār Nakhshwani attest to the Zaydi [Fiver] Shia of Yemen to be the brothers of Ithna Ashariyyah [Twelver] of Iran.

3.    ‘Ammār Nakhshwani has stated on a public platform that the Zaydi of Yemen are moving towards Twelver Shiasm, and have in fact, become Twelver Shia, because the Zaydi turned to Sistani [Ithna Ashari of Iraq] for mediation in their matters.

4.    The Zaydis have stated that Sistani is their leader. Sistani has a long history of swearing Umm-ul-Mu’minīn Sayyidah ‘Ā’isha raḍiyallāhu ‘anhā. Other ‘Ulamā’ have explained that the Houthis subscribe to Khamanei as their leader.

5.    The Houthis have destroyed Masājid, burnt copies of the Noble Qur’ān and have displayed terrible enmity towards the Ahl-us-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah.

6.    The Twelvers in Saudi Arabia are closely attached to the Zaydis of Yemen, and state in public that the Zaydis are their brothers, and make du’ā’ for Husayn Badr-ud-Dīn Houthi.

7.    Husayn Badr-ud-Dīn Houthi openly criticized and maligned Sayyiduna Abu Bakr raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu and Sayyidunā ‘Umar raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu. We seek the protection of Allāh from the blasphemy of the Shia.

8.    The Houthi masses do not accept Sayyidunā Abū Bakr raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu and Sayyidunā ‘Umar raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu. They say that the Ṣaḥābah raḍiyallāhu ‘anhum are liars. Astaghfirullāh. Lā Ḥawlah wa lā Quwwata illā Billāh. They say that the Houthi leader is upon the truth.

9.    Sayyidunā Mu’āwiyah raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu, Sayyidunā Abū Hurayrah raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu, and Sayyidunā ‘Amr bin al-‘Āṣ raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu were also severely targeted by Houthi Shia scholars during the Friday Khuṭbah.

10.                    According to the Shia Ayatollah Mahdi Faghih Emami, it is more virtuous to say ‘Death to Abū Bakr’ and ‘Death to ‘Umar’ than saying ‘Death to America’ and ‘Death to Israel.’

11.                    Ayatollah Mahdi Faghih Emami said that Israel exists today because Shaykhayn raḍiyallāhu ‘anhumā did not allow Sayyidunā ‘Alī raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu to rule. Astaghfirullāh, such blasphemy and kufr in this day and age, Astaghfirullāh.

12.                    We seek the protection with Allāh Ta’ālā from every Shia, whether Zaydi, whether Ithna Ashariyyah, whether Houthi, whether Imami. The bottom line is that the Shia are united in their support for Israel.

13.                    May Allāh Ta’ālā open the eyes of the entire world to the threat of the Shia. They have encircled the Ḥaramayn Sharīfayn, using Masjid Al-Aqṣā as a pretext – whose virtue they do not even believe in – and desire to fulfil the wish of Khomeini.

14.                    Khomeini wished to dig out the bodies of Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam and Shaykhayn raḍiyallāhu ‘anhumā.
