The Desecration of Masajid Continues

 


And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned i.e., praised, in his Masajid and strive toward their destruction. It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgraace, and they will have in the Hereafter a great punishment. [Surah al-Baqarah: 114]

1. Muslims in various parts of the world are horrified at the desecration of the noble, blessed and sanctified Masajid, especially al-Masjid al-Aqsa. 

2. Torturing the Muslims - whether physically or emotionally - that defend the Masjid and uphold its sanctity is not something novel in multiple countries.

3. One of the novel ways in which the sacredness and sanctity of the Masjid is being attacked and vilified is through changing the purpose for which it was built and established. This way has been effectively used by the modernists and liberals. 

4. The latest attack on the sanctity of the most blessed Masajid is the promotion of voter registration in the lecture, and the onsite presence of teams to assist Musallis to register to vote.

5. Such damning actions are not novel or surprising to those who carry them out.

6. They were at the forefront of closing the Masajid in the recent past, using the Masjid facilities as vaccination points, and promoting denial of Tauhid and Khatm-un-Nubuwwah though interfaith ventures at and inside Masajid.

7. Whilst the Muslim Ummah watches Masajid in different parts of the world being destroyed and bombed, some find it controversially suitable to utilize the Masajid for democratic processes that has brought significant heartache to the Muslims of South Africa for many years already.

8. Muslims around the world are called on to voice their concern in this regard, and to make du'a for the safety and preservation of the Masajid in our country and around the world.

9. Raising awareness and turning to Allah Ta'ala is the very least that Muslims can do.

10. O Allah, we place our trust in you, we put our matter before you, protect and save the Masajid worldwide from the desecration of the modernists, liberals, and all those who intend evil for the Muslim Ummah. Ameen
