Ismail Haniyeh: Martyred in Iran?

A great Mujahid and a magnificent leader, Ismail Haniyeh rahimahullah was barbarically martyred in Iran in July 2024.

Iran outwardly makes a display of support for Hamas and the cause of Palestine. But is this really the case?

From the outset, it must be clear that Iran, a majority Twelver Shia country, has nothing to do with Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, nor do the Shia believe it to be of any significance.

Ismail Haniyeh was living in Doha, and he would travel to other countries too. He went to Turkiye, Russia, Egypt etc. But when he went to Iran, it was a totally different puzzle.

When a noted leader is martyred, then every minute detail is flashed all over the media. Where was the person located? Who was he with? What had happened? How did he lose his life?

The media went into a frenzy when other world leaders were killed, but here?

It was said that Ismail Haniyeh rahimahullah was martyred by a guided missile. It stands to reason that if a missile hits a building, then not only does one or two people die, but the building will also be terribly damaged. Were the pictures of the building shown? Did the Iranian press mention others that were possibly killed? We were only told that Ismail Haniyeh and his guard were killed, why?

The New York Times reported that a bomb was placed in the room where Ismail Haniyeh was staying, from two months before. If this is accurate, then why did the investigative bodies of Iran not sense this? Are places where delegates and diplomats are hosted not safe and searched and scanned and literally x-rayed?

The Iranians must clarify these contradictory reports. Where was the security that governments provide for foreign diplomats? Was the security not breached? By whom?

These are common questions that could arise in the mind of any person.

Hence, Iran is responsible to provide all these details. But we have got nothing but silence. For this reason, people will definitely ask if Iran is not possibly soiled itself in this?

Whatever the case may be, a great leader was martyred and international law was trampled. Iran has not honored its guest, nor did it aid the cause for the freedom of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and the Palestinians in any way. Iran is only fighting for its own agenda, of restoring the Magian Empire.
