Where are the Scholars of Modernity?!
The enlightenment thinkers and rationalists, as they like to be called, or the obscurantists, as I prefer to call them, have had a significant negative impact on the minds of young people. Sometimes they talk to them about Darwin and morality, other times about the layers of the sky and the physics of the earth, and yet, at other times they go to such lengths in their discourse that they believe no one but themselves adheres to the correct understanding of religion.
Since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Flood and the outbreak of confrontation between Muslims and Jews, we haven't heard the voices of Adnan Ibrahim, Al-Kayyali, or their followers. Aren't these among the most important issues facing the Ummah? We haven't heard their opinions on these major issues!
This battle has revealed the joints of the Ummah. It has shown us the enemy from the friend. Many have remained silent like the grave in the face of the crimes and aggression perpetrated against a Muslim people with the latest creations of the global Zionist crime machine. But if an intellectual issue arises that reveals their strength and egos, they rush to address it. These people are not of us, and we are not of them, because lofty issues do not concern them. All that concerns them is their position and status in society. If an issue is raised that touches their egos, they come to it submissively. [Beneath the Banner of the Flood p.233]
