Reflecting on Surah al-Jinn - A Unique & Amazing Explanation
Masajid, not just Al-Masjid Al-Haraam! Allah-u-Akbar! What Masajid, O Rabb? There were only two Masajid on the earth (at the time of the revelation of this ayat); Al-Masjid Al-Haraam and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa. Al-Masjid Al-Haraam was under the authority of the Quraysh, and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa was under the rule of the Romans, and the Noble Qur'an says, 'O Muhammad, the Masajid are for Allah, all Masajid!'
This is glad tidings from the heart of the critical Makkan situation that you will conquer Al-Masjid Al-Haraam and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, O Muhammad! How comforting was this to the heart of Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam! This is something Allah Ta'ala revealed to his Nabi, and Allah knows best.
