Consensus on the Adamic Creation

 


  • Abu Mansur Abd al-Qahir al-Baghdadi asserted that Muslims, Christians, and Jews agree on the belief that all humans descend from Adam 'alayhi as-salam and that he was created from dust. [al-Asma' wa al-Sifat, Dar-al-Taqwa, Damascus, 2020]
  • Ibn 'Atiyya states in his Tafsir that all people are in consensus that Allah Ta'ala created Adam 'alayi as-salam from dust and that he was not born from sexual reproduction. 
  • Al-Qurtubi states that no one from the Christians or Muslims differed regarding Adam 'alayhi as-salam being created and formed without biological parents.
  • Ibn al-Qattan al-Fasi reports in his collection of unanimously agreed matters that Muslims reached consensus that Allah Ta'ala made Adam 'alayhi as-salam the father of mankind. 
  • Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyya adds that from the matters that are known and no Muslim disputes is that Allah Ta'ala created Adam 'alayhi as-salam from the dust of this world. 
Summary: Muslim scholars from nearly a thousand years ago explicitly cited consensus on Adam 'alayhi as-salam being an original creation. 

The contemporary UAE-based Algerian astrophysicist, Nidhal Guessoum, however, differs with the entire Muslim Ummah and its body of scholarship by proposing novel and satanic ideas that embrace evolution, trying to make it fit into the teachings of the Noble Qur'an. We seek the protection of Allah Ta'ala from such gibberish and deviation. Ameen

Nidhal Guessoum and those who challenge the consensus of the Ummah cite rare views from individuals that allegedly speak about the stages of biological evolution and common descent of humans. However, these have been proven to be erroneous attempts to make evolution acceptable by taking the words out of context. 

There are others like Shoaib Ahmed Malik, David Solomon Jalajel, and Yasir Qadhi who are feverishly trying to push evolution as acceptable under the guise of Adamic Exceptionalism and Human Exceptionalism. May Allah Ta'ala save us from all this deviation. Ameen

Don't Let your Guard Down: Become Circumspect in the Face of Shia Propaganda

  Alhamdulillah, by and large, around the world, Muslims and non-Muslims have gauged the lies and propaganda that has been spewed by mass media regarding the genocide in Ghazza. In a similar way, the Shia have for years been spewing propaganda under our noses through social media, newspapers, magazines, and books. Shia propaganda is sometimes more difficult to point out and understand, because of the complexities of Taqiyyah and Kitmaan.  It is pointless to respond to each lie and wave of propaganda, because each Shia lie has thousands of attached lies that are all poisonous to a person's faith and one's worldview.
