The Unfortunate People that will fight the Mahdi

 


When Sayyiduna Mahdi radiyallahu 'anhu will come out, then no person of imaan should go against him, but they should hasten to pledge allegiance to him.

It has been explained that the unfortunate people that will fight against the Mahdi at first will not be non-Muslims, but it will be an army of Muslims. Some of them will be those who have been forced to fight, whilst others will be those who came to fight whilst having 'irtidaadi' thoughts. These will be the so-called Muslims who have fallen into the trap of 'fikri irtidaad', i.e., intellectual apostasy. They will look at Sayyiduna Mahdi radiyallahu 'anhu and his companions as terrorists, fundamentalists, and so on. They will all be sunk into the earth. They will be raised according to their intentions. Every Muslim must adopt caution not to end up in this way. [Source: Dajjal Who? When? Where? pp.259-260]

May Allah Ta'ala save us from falling into intellectual apostasy, i.e., fikri irtidaad. Ameen
