10 Reasons why Muslims cannot support Iran against Israel - Mawlana Afzal Ismail

 


1. Iran has caused far more damage to the Muslim Ummah than Israel.

2. Iran massacred Muslims for years in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon.

3. Iran has never realistically helped the Palestinians whenever Israel attacked Palestine in the last 77 years. 

[Iran only 'helps' with an agenda.]

4. Iran is not currently attacking Israel for any Islamic reason. It is merely for self-defense, or as part of a staged plot. 

5. If we are happy with Israel catching a hiding due to Israel's atrocities in Palestine, we need to be happier with Iran catching a hiding due to Iran's atrocities in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon.

6. History teaches us that Iran has meddled and instigated trouble in many areas of the Muslim world. Their motives are questionable. Iran cannot be trusted.

7. Iran sided with Hafez Assad and Bashar Assad in their persecution and torture of the Ahl-us-Sunnah wal Jama'ah Muslims in Syria for over 40 years.

8. Iran has a history of supporting tyrannical misguided factions - Hizbullah in Lebanon and the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan. 

9. We must not confuse politics and 'Aqidah (beliefs). Shia beliefs are horrendous and appalling and can never be reconciled with the 'Aqidah of the Ahl-us-Sunnah wal Jama'ah Muslims.

10. The Ahl-us-Sunnah wal Jama'ah Muslims can never side with those who slander and blaspheme the mothers of the Ummah and the Sahabah who are so close to our hearts. 

In summary, we should not be deceived by temporary emotions of euphoria. Iran and Israel are both oppressors and troublemakers. If both attack and destroy each other, the Muslim world will be a safer place.

May Allah Ta'ala protect the innocent Muslims who may be affected by the bombing of the oppressors. Ameen
