I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
1. For this reason, I see, understand and realize that Islam is under attack. I have closely followed societal trends in the past, but now I feel empty of what I would previously experience from my practices as a Muslim, without the frills and fusses of modernism.
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
2. I understand that what my parents, grandparents, and family did before - also as concerned Muslims - is very different from what the modern Muslim community is doing.
 I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
3. I know that Islam teaches modesty and shame, so I shall not engage in free mixing at family functions, nor shall I attend lecture events with mixed audiences, even if the speaker seems very famous. As a concerned man, I shall not attend programs of a woman, and as a woman, I shall not attend the lectures of strange men, except if it is fully in-line with Hijab, with a solid barrier, where I cannot see the speaker, and he cannot see me.

4. My religion, faith, creed, and way of life as a concerned Muslim are all very precious and valuable. I shall not compromise on it, barter it, or sell it. I repent totally from all previous compromises and will not repeat them.

5. I am deeply hurt at the destruction of true and authentic Islamic teaching. I will be bold and courageous, and guard the religion of Islam from distortion and deform, from modernism and liberalism. I will defend the legacy of the true Muslims, even if it is attacked from within. I will not pay huge fees to attend programs of people who work to erode authentic Islam and finish it off, in following the Jews and Christians.
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
6. I pledge to acquire authentic Islamic knowledge, from the proper sources. I will not be fooled and deceived by celebrities and actors that employ double-speak and coded language. I will be true to Allah, His Rasul sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallamm and the tried and tested ways employed by true and genuine concerned Muslims for centuries. 
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
7. I am extremely worried about my Muslim brothers and sisters all over the world, especially in Palestine, Syria, Kashmir, and Sudan. I will be pro-active and engage in all permitted ways to help and support them. I will perform my obligations as a concerned Muslim by performing Salaah 5 times a day in the Masjid as a man, and at home as a woman, and encourage all concerned Muslims to do the same. I must draw the mercy of Allah for my brothers and sisters all over the world by making du'a for them and by boycotting the lifestyle of the Christians, Jews, Hindus, modernists, and atheists. I will boycott the products that are sponsoring the killing of my Muslim brothers and sisters.

8. I firmly resolve to give up all forms of modernism and liberalism. I will dedicate my life to Allah. I will prepare to meet my Creator. I will ready myself and my family to leave this world with true and genuine faith and Imaan, for we all will not stay here forever.

9. I will not spoil my religion by mixing and associating with those who attack it and spoil it and deform it. I now see and understand that the modernists and liberals who attack Islam promote interfaith and embrace the alphabet community. This will destroy me and my family. In fact, it will let my entire religion and faith be rendered null and void in the sight of Allah.

10. I have understood that the modernist brand of Islam is being imported from elsewhere. It is not rooted in the Noble Qur'an or the Blessed Sunnah, but it comes from people with questionable backgrounds and insincere motives. The fuss created about these celebrities must have some basis. It cannot be that the concerned 'Ulama are raising their voices for nothing. They are worried and concerned about our welfare and safety. 
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
11. I will not push for any modifications or changes to Islam. On the other hand, I will distance myself from those who want to do so. I will strive to verify and check whatever information is shown to me. I will not utilize social media and the big screen to learn Islam and Imaan. 
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
12. I will be intelligent and not fall for slogans and campaigns that are designed to destroy true and authentic Islam. I will support and back the genuine traditional 'Ulama who have taught me, my children, and family.
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
13. I will work hard to practice true and authentic Islam, as taught by the pious predecessors of the Muslim Ummah and will not be swayed by looks and sweet words of modernists and liberals, just because it makes me temporarily feel good. 
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
14. So, I will give preference to my well-being in the hereafter, rather than just go with the flow of feeling good in this world only.
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
15. I prefer to be a stranger and even be called an outcast, because that is where the reward lies. Were not my most beloved Nabi, the best of creation - sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam - and his blessed family and noble companions treated as strangers and outcasts?
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
16. I would love to have a bashful and modest daughter that would rear the next generation of the soldiers of Islam. I would love to have a brave son that would stand guard and fight for the cause of Islam, and for the word of Allah to reign supreme in the world. I shall encourage them to do this, and I shall support them in this endeavor.
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
18. I shall consult with my local Imam, make my concerns known to him, ask him to help me along, and show me the path of true authentic traditional Islam, and for him to lead me by example.
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
19. I shall inform my friends of the great attack on Islam by the modernist fraternity - Muslim and non-Muslim - and I will stand by to support them in their journey to hold onto Islam, rather than let it fall by the wayside.
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
20. I shall work hard on all those under my influence, friends, students, family, and associates, and plead with them to see the light and not fall for the modernist brand of 'Islam' that has nothing to do with the teachings of the Noble Qur'an and the Blessed Sunnah.
I AM A VERY CONCERNED MUSLIM...
21. I will take a deep look into who I look up to. I will change my heroes from football players and film actors to the blessed Nabi of Allah, Sayyiduna Muhammad Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, his blessed family, his illustrious Sahabah radiyallahu 'anhum, all the heroes of Islam who dedicated the time, energy, and lives to the cause of true and authentic Islam to prosper and reach me. 
O Allah, help me in my endeavor, because...
