Allowing the Scholars and Masses to be Exposed to Deviants?
"It is not appropriate for the 'Ulama to take from an innovator, nor is it appropriate for them to leave the masses to ask an innovator and sit by him. When this is the case, no one should speak about him (the innovator), so that mention of him dies out, and his matter does not gain prominence.
Hence, it is learnt that it is permitted for the 'Ulama, in fact, it is compulsory upon them to mention the defects of this person to the people, and to stop them ( the people) from taking from him."
