What an Excellent Person I am for the Evil of my Ummah


Sayyidah Umm Salamah radiyallahu 'anha reports that Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "What an excellent person I am, for the evil of my Ummah!" A person from Muzaynah said, "O Rasul of Allah, (if you are so excellent) for the evil amongst them, then how will you be for the good amongst them?" He said, "The good of my Ummah will enter Jannah through their actions, and the evil of my Ummah will wait for my intercession. Listen! it (my intercession) is permitted on the Day of Qiyamah for my entire Ummah, except the person who criticizes my Sahabah."
