Ilaah & Ma'bud

 

"There is no doubt that whoever believes and accepts the divine laws only in the case where they can grasp and comprehend them, and whichever laws are beyond their comprehension, they refute them, or try to reform them and change them, they do not take Allah Ta'ala as their Ma'bud, i.e., deity, but their Ilaah and Ma'bud is their minds and their nafs."
