The DISBELIEF of the one who points a finger at the Sahabah radiyallahu anhum: Shaykh-ul-Hadith Mawlana Yusuf Motala rahimahullah

[Shaykh-ul-Hadith Mawlana Yusuf Motala rahimahullah was the Khalifah of Qutb-ul-Aqtab Shaykh-ul-Hadith Mawlana Muhammad Zakariyya rahimahullah]

Mawlana said, "I had said, the Qur'an, Hadith, Sahabah are very great matters. A person becomes fearful. In the recent past, the Awliya-ullah, the luminaries of Deen who understood them; how they understood them, we try to understand them in the same way. Just as they understood the Sahabah, that the person who raises a single finger at them, the person who utters a single word against them, we will say that he is a disbeliever (kaafir). 

So, (for) those who did not understand the Sahabah, there is a matter agreed upon by the consensus of the Ahl-us-Sunnah wal Jama'ah, that by making takfeer of the Sahabah, disbelief (kufr) will be necessitated , and a person will become a kaafir.

Hence, gauge and measure your imaan, the person who does not take a disbeliever to be a disbeliever, who is he? That is disbelief on its own. 

Understanding a disbeliever not to be a disbeliever is to be pleased with his disbelief."

May Allah Ta'ala save us all from the evil of speaking ill of the Sahabah radiyallahu 'anhum, from the evil of mixing, associating, or sympathizing with the haters of the Sahabah radiyallahu 'anhum, and from the evil of not understanding and accepting disbelief to be disbelief. Ameen

  Alhamdulillah, by and large, around the world, Muslims and non-Muslims have gauged the lies and propaganda that has been spewed by mass media regarding the genocide in Ghazza.
