The First Step of Deviation

 

The first step of deviation is to give preference to one's own views instead of accepting the teachings and principles of one's elders and pious predecessors. This is such a door that opens the door of deviation, then, the final stage is disrespect and insolence towards the Ambiya 'alayhim as-salaam, the blessed Sahabah radiyallahu 'anhum. Then, it goes ahead, leading to interpolating the Noble Qur'an, giving a new sequence to the Noble Qur'an, and drawing incorrect conclusions from the Ahadith. 

Is this not all happening today?
