The "Approach" Argument
Over the last few years, Modernists and Liberals have been proffering a number of arguments to justify their "proactive" engagements in destroying the structure of authentic Islam.
Modernist scholars claim to engage in activism - which is framed as "Sunnah" - and free mixing - which is framed as "Da'wah", which is given an Islamic varnishing and presented to the masses as "contributing to the greater good of the Muslim community" and "signifying the Muslim presence in society."
There is nothing Islamic in these "proactive engagements" when they openly flout the pure and pristine divine injunctions revealed by Allah Ta'ala, taught by Sayyiduna Muhammad Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, and practically implemented by the pious predecessors.
Modernists and Liberals, especially their scholars, know the arguments and proofs from the Noble Qur'an and the Blessed Sunnah, and they have craftily manufactured the tools to evade and erode the divine instructions. In addition, they have prepared defense mechanisms, damage control procedures, and pacifying instruments to keep the voices of the genuine 'Ulama and the concerned Muslim Ummah stifled.
The latest stifling line is "approach".
After we heard the "ikhtilaf" line being used, misused, abused to justify the most horrendous crimes perpetrated in the name of Islam and the Shari'ah, there is no hope at all from modernist and liberal circles that this "approach" issue will be any different.
Modernists and Liberals do not accept any proof from the traditional sources, even if it be from the Noble Qur'an, the Blessed Sunnah, or the entire corpus of Islamic scholarship. They have mastered the art of deceiving themselves and the masses by using Islamic terms and one-liners whilst projecting that they possess some superior form of "knowledge" that subverts even the Noble Qur'an.
The "approach" line is just another line in the long list of obtuse phrases designed to fool the dunderheaded worshippers of the Nafs.
May Allah Ta'ala save us from the filth of Modernism and Liberalism. Ameen
